For many scuba lovers, Bonaire is the only answer to the question: where should you dive in the Caribbean? People adore this area because of the unlimited shore diving, meaning you get a lot of bang for your buck and won’t run out of places to explore. Atlantis is a spot on the Southwest coast and offers some colorful reefs and marine life that you’ll never forget.

2. Grand Cayman’s East End

People often recommend Grand Cayman Island for scuba divers, but those in the know advise serious divers to venture to East End. The area offers quality diving but at a high price. Diving here can cost a pretty penny, but the underwater atmosphere is wondrous, and the area is quite safe.

5. Clark’s Cay off of Guanaja

This four-acre cay has picturesque seascapes and lively marine life, making it ideal for divers who can’t get enough time underwater. Scotts Head is a small village in Dominica, and you won’t find this recommendation on too many Google pages. It’s sort of a hidden diving gem. It’s a massive submerged volcano crater with fascinating topography that you can’t see just anywhere. It’s one of the more unusual dive sites on this list, with wall dives, pinnacles, active bubbling hydrothermal vents, and healthy coral.

Another unique Caribbean diving spot is The Great Blue Hole in Belize. It’s part of Lighthouse Reef, another spectacular place to dive. The giant hole is a marine sinkhole that is astonishing to see in person. However, the diving here is a bit more slow-paced and relaxing, so it’s not ideal for thrill seekers but is perfect for sightseers.

10. The Antilla Wreck in Aruba
