Canadians have been given a perfect label regarding how they act towards tourists and foreigners. Many tourists have spoken about how the people of Canada are incredibly welcoming and polite with excellent manners. A tourist commented, “The other day, it snowed heavily, the sidewalks were not in the best shape, and a disabled man in this power chair was stuck. Me and the two cars behind me pulled over and got out to push this man’s wheelchair past the bad part of the sidewalk.” Even in basic situations, the Canadian people are there to help.

In a notorious Canadian comedy movie released in 1983, Doug and Bob McKenzie go on a quest for free beer and wind up at the Elsinore Brewery. As Doug and Bob go on a mission to save the world from Brewmeister Smith, they still drink plenty of their favorite drinks along the way.

Rush was a Canadian rock band that included Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Neil Peart, John Rutsey, and Jeff Jones. Geddy Lee later replaced Jeff Jones, and the drummer John Rutsey formed the band. With their most famous hit being the well-known “Tom Sawyer,” they were active from 1968 to 2018.

The Stratford Festival is an event that runs every year from April to October. This festival is located in the city of Stratford, Ontario. The event has been around since 1952 and performs many productions throughout the year. It features classic works by William Shakespeare, as well as contemporary pieces.

Not only is Reynolds one of the best Canadian actors, but he may be the best in the world, with over 100 movies and plenty of number 1 movies throughout his career. His most famous movie was the Deadpool series, where he took home a net of twenty-two million dollars on each of the Deadpool films.

This delicious dish features french fries and cheese curds that are topped off with a nice, warm, brown gravy. Poutine came out of Quebec in the late 1950s; it received its fair share of judgment until people decided to give this tasty dish a try.

10. Tim Horton’s

A breakfast drive-thru best known for its culture of doughnuts and coffee, it’s also lovingly referred to as “Timmy’s” or “Tim’s.” The fast-food chain was created in 1964 when a hockey player, Tim Horton, and a businessman, Jim Charade, devised the excellent idea to sell coffee and doughnuts to the people of Canada. Now, with over 5,600 locations, Tim Horton’s has become a household name for where to get good coffee.

11. Ice Hockey

A sport we all know but may only partially understand dates back to 1875 when the sport was first invented. With Canada being the first country ever to hold an ice hockey match, they got a jumpstart; cold, long winter conditions definitely gave them an advantage.
