Small Travel Accessories:
ChargeCard by AquaVault
I haven’t been this excited about an electronic device in a long time, but the ChargeCard is one of the best travel accessories we use. This ultra-thin portable charger is powerful and easily slips into your wallet. It comes with a variety of charging cables for both Apple and Android devices.
Just to be clear, this will not fully charge your phone to 100%, but it will give you the boost you need before you run out of battery. I would say, on average, it charges my phone between 40% to 60%, which is generally all I need to get through those heavy-use days.
Lookstand Adjustable Phone Stand
We have finally found the answer to “tech neck,” and it is the Lookstand Adjustable Phone Stand. This nifty gadget attaches to the back of any smartphone and extends up to a full 7-inch height, so your phone is at the perfect ergonomic viewing angle in both portrait and landscape modes.
It is perfect for use on flights, in hotel rooms, and even as a selfie stick. It has adjustable viewing angles and a detachable mount if you don’t want to keep it on your phone all the time. It is sleek and can be tucked away when not in use. We love the ocean blue color; it is easy to find amongst the sea of black tech travel gadgets but also comes in five different colors.
OneWorld 65 Adapter
I am part of team carry on, so the fewer products I need to pack when I travel, the better. This adapter from OneWorld 65 is a travel staple. It can power and fast-charge up to six devices at the same time utilizing the right amount of voltage, but most importantly, it is reliable. And it comes with a handy carrying pouch.
EARPEACE
EARPEACE earplugs have been a total game-changer. These earplugs are easy to put in, are gentle to sleep with, and have less pressure than traditional earplugs. They block out sound for sleep and travel and are easy to pack in a carry on or laptop bag. EARPEACE reusable earplugs reduce sound by up to 30db and are made of soft, hypoallergenic silicone.
STEAM CLIP Multi-Tool for Travel
I love this multi-tasking steam clip! Not only does it help steam out the wrinkles from clothes by using the heat from the shower, but it can also double as a hanger, use it as a smartphone stand, and keep your purse or jacket off the restroom floor. I keep this in my purse during travel, and it is amazing how much use it gets.
FlightFūd’s Flight Elixir
Nobody wants to lose a day of their trip (on either end!) to feeling that run-down, bloated, “gross” feeling you get when you fly. FlightFūd was made specifically for the unique needs of travelers, and we wish we had tried this natural health supplement years ago!
Flight Elixir helps to reduce travel bloat, gas, and indigestion, restore energy and manage jet lag, and support circulation, immunity, and hydration. You may be asking, but does it actually work? It sure does! We can honestly say that we will never travel without our Flight Elixir ever again.
Serenity Travel Tray Organizer
How many times have you searched for a place to put your personal items on an airplane while trying not to spill your coffee?!! I love this travel tray organizer from Serenity which has convenient pockets to tuck items away like magazines, earphones, glasses, and your coffee cup or water bottle. This is one travel gift every traveler will want and something they don’t already have!
PlaneAire Wipes & Hand Sanitzer
We know there are a million hand sanitizers and wipes on the market, so why did we choose PlaneAire? Because we are tired of having dry, sticky hands and PlaneAire keeps them moisturized while effectively killing common germs. Did we mention that the Lemongrass Rosemary blend also wards off mosquitos?!
There are many different essential oil blends to choose from, and the travel essentials bundle covers all the sanitizing basics you will need for your next vacation.
Murphy’s Naturals Bug Repellant Wipes
Murphy’s mosquito repellent wipes have to be one of the most genius travel accessories! They are easy to pack, have no mess to apply, and have no harsh chemicals. There are ten wipes per pack; they absorb quickly and smell divine. These mosquito repellent wipes are a must-have for camping and road trips, or just keep them tucked in your purse all summer long.
Mini Wet Brushes
The first time I used a wet brush to detangle my hair, I was in love. If you have never used a wet brush before, it will quickly become your new best friend and the one item that you cannot forget at home when you travel. The mini wet brushes are a perfect size, do just as good a job as the full-sized version but take up much less space in your luggage. Buy the mini-pack of three and put one in each travel bag!
Manta Sleep Mask
Manta’s Sleep Mask is one of the most comfortable sleep masks you will try. I am obsessed with sleep masks, and I love that it completely blocks out any light and it doesn’t crush eyelashes. It is adjustable to any size for a custom fit, and it is ideal for side sleepers like myself. It comes with a handy carrying case and earplugs, which are perfect for traveling.
Microperfumes
Traveling with your favorite perfume just got a whole lot easier. Microperfumes come in a handy 5 ml travel spray bottle that can easily be slipped into your toiletry bag or clear plastic bag for security. You won’t have to worry about leaks, and many of your favorite brands are available.
Vagabond Heart Luggage Stickers
These vintage-inspired travel stickers for luggage will excite any avid traveler. Instead of buying a cheap souvenir, these stylish stickers will remind you of your adventures every time you travel. There’s a wide selection of cities available, and I was pretty excited to order a Vancouver sticker for my Monos luggage.
Travel Gifts: Luggage, Backpacks & More
Monos Carryon Pro Plus
On the ultimate quest to find the perfect carry-on roller luggage, we found the Monos Carryon Pro Plus. There are three basic requirements that we have for our travel luggage: an unbreakable but light outer shell, sturdy telescopic handles (we are a tall family, so this is a deal-breaker), and wheels that perform without slowing us down.
If you are traveling on smaller aircraft, I would suggest sticking with the Monos Carryon Pro size, but if you are looking for a carry-on bag for larger aircraft or road trips, I would highly recommend the pro plus. The lifetime warranty on Monos luggage is exceptional and well worth the investment in this luggage brand.
Monos Hybrid Carryon
We loved our Monos Carryon Pro Plus so much that we also wanted to try the Monos Hybrid Carryon, and now we have two fantastic carryon choices! The Monos Hybrid Carryon has no zipper, and it is a wonderful addition to our luggage needs. We will often travel with our regular-sized Monos Hybrid Carryon if we have any regional flights where sometimes our Monos Pro Plus doesn’t fit in the overhead bin.
The aluminum frame and polycarbonate shell combine to make a sophisticated and gorgeous piece of luggage. The telescopic handle performance is the icing on the cake.
Victorinox Spectra 3.0 Frequent Flyer Carryon
If you really want to impress with your holiday travel gifts this year, you cannot go wrong with Victorinox luggage from the makers of the Swiss Army Knife. This premium piece of luggage has everything you ever wanted and more in a carryon. It can expand by 20%, it has a hidden SIM key and pen, a charging port, and the smoothest drive on silent wheels.
We opted for the beautiful Victorinox Red, and the quick-access front compartment allows amazing travel organization without having to open the entire suitcase. This carryon carries a higher price point, but if you are a frequent jetsetter, I don’t think you will find a carryon with this many bells and whistles.
Nomad Lane’s Bento Bag
I have owned this incredible canvas carry-on bag from Nomad Lane for years, and I couldn’t imagine traveling anywhere without it. It is the perfect size to slide under the seat in front of you or tuck away in the overhead bin. The trolley sleeve allows you to slide it over your roller bag, and the USB port allows for easy charging on the go.
My favorite part of this bag is how organized it is, meaning you won’t have to dig around endlessly looking for what you need. Check out my extensive review of Nomad Lane’s Bento Bag and learn about all the amazing features that I just can’t travel without!
Knack Backpack
If there’s one thing we love about a good backpack, it’s the ability to take it from the office to the weekend. The Knack Backpack is the answer for any kind of trip, and it’s incredibly versatile. The quality is immediately noticeable, with loads of padding on the back and muted branding for a more classic look.
The expandable compartment opens up like a suitcase with different handle options to choose how you prefer to carry the bag. I wasn’t sure if I would like the zip-up water bottle compartment, but it has become one of my favorite details, allowing me to use it for other items depending on the outing.
The Knack Backpack is deceptively roomy and has become one of our favorite new travel finds this year.
Gregory Rhune F22 Backpack
All the fabric from this thoughtfully organized adventure daypack is from recycled materials resulting in a 57% reduction in the carbon footprint compared to a conventional nylon pack. There are so many details in the Rhune F22 Backpack, but we love the integrated shoulder harness pocket, tech storage, and the externally accessed padded laptop sleeve.
Not only is this a perfectly designed travel backpack, but you can feel good making this purchase. And we love the cool outdoorsy vibe without it looking bulky. Did we mention the super comfortable shoulder straps?!!
Able Carry 30L Max Backpack
This backpack from Able Carry is the closest you will come to traveling with just one bag. At 30L, it can hold an enormous amount of clothing, shoes, tech, and necessities, and it will still fit under the seat on the plane. The quality of this backpack is exceptional, and we love the waterproof compartment for a water bottle that protects our electronics from accidental leaks. The luggage pass-through is so handy when traveling with a roller bag.
Charley Cross Chest Clutch
I have recently embraced using a fanny pack while traveling, so when I discovered the Charley Cross Chest Clutch, I could finally combine functionality with style. Designed in durable, Italian premium pebble leather, it also comes equipped with belt loops for wearing as a belt bag! This fun and casual accessory from Luis Steven features a luxurious suede interior with a small zipper pocket, leather pocket, and room for all your travel essentials.
Lopalu Diaper Bag
New moms don’t have to trade style for function any longer with this gorgeous bag from Lopalu. The Luna Collection has multiple carrying options and 15 pockets for easy organization and access. It is ideal for traveling moms with pockets for diapers, a laptop, a cell phone, and a trolley sleeve. It’s so pretty you may just end up using it long after the kiddos have grown up.
Monos Compression Packing Cubes
If you are looking to organize your clothing and save space, then these compression packing cubes from Monos are ideal for traveling. These packing cubes stay upright, making packing so much easier. The high quality of these packing cubes from Monos is wonderful; the exterior is made of tear-resistant nylon twill, while the interior is the anti-microbial fabric found inside Monos’ travel suitcases.
You may find it easier to compress your clothing by folding it instead of using the rolling technique. The packing cubes make it easy to transfer directly to the dresser at your hotel or any other accommodation without having to take everything out.
SuitedNomad Compression Cubes
For a more budget-friendly option, SuitedNomad’s Compression Packing Cubes are an important travel accessory. These packing cubes are incredibly lightweight, made of water-resistant nylon, and come in a variety of colors if you like having a different color for each family member.
If you buy the set, it comes with a handy clear pouch for your liquids which has become my favorite to get through security with.
Travel Gifts: Clothing & Footwear
Unbound Merino
If you want to look stylish in any situation but still have that luxurious feel, Unbound Merino’s line of sustainably sourced, mulesing-free Merino wool is where it’s at! They recently launched a women’s line in addition to the men’s line, which offers classic, naturally antibacterial, and moisture-wicking styles.
Unbound Merino’s line of travel clothing is famous for staying clean and odor-free for weeks, doesn’t wrinkle, regulates your temperature, and dries really, really fast. The style options allow you to go from the hiking trail to dinner without missing a beat and make packing light a breeze.
Vim & Vigr Stylish Compression Socks
We all know how useful compression socks are when we travel, and now you can look stylish too. Vim & Vigr offers fun prints and vibrant solids in a variety of fabrics like merino wool, nylon, and cotton. Compression socks increase blood flow and oxygen delivery while minimizing muscle fatigue.
After my husband had a deep vein thrombosis scare after a flight from Vancouver to Paris, we both now wear compression socks during flights and on days when we are out walking and exploring all day. Our legs feel more energized after long travel days, and truth be told, we look pretty darn good in these stylish patterns!
Dēp Slēpwear
It is always exciting to test a new, innovative product that actually improves travel! I was unsure of how I would like the Dēp Slēpwear hoodie, but after the first night of the testing, I was hooked. I couldn’t wait to take this hoodie on a long-haul flight, and as I predicted, it blocked out the light, reduced sound, and regulated my body temperature.
It’s no wonder athletes, celebs, and jet setters swear by this product. If you want to have a better night’s sleep at home or on the road, you need to try Dēp’s Slēpwear hoodie.
Fieldsheer Bluetooth Warming
Truly one of the coolest products we tested was Fieldsheer’s Bluetooth warming and cooling line of clothing. The Women’s Backcountry Heated Vest is now one of my travel staples. The small 7.4 volt battery fits sleekly into one of the pockets while the two heat zones in the chest and back give that added warmth when I need it.
Fieldsheer’s line of cooling products offers sun protection and keeps your body 7 degrees cooler and 4x drier than traditional clothing. I love the cooling hoodie and tank top for those hot destinations. Not only do they help you remain cool, but you will look stylish in them too.
Deckers X Lab Slip-On Shoes
There is nothing I love more than a comfortable slip-on shoe for traveling that doubles as a walking shoe but also maintain style. I always feel like a tourist when I wear running shoes when exploring a city. Deckers X Lab new orthopedic slip-on shoe, the X-Scape Coupe, can more than handle the rigors of walking endless miles but still look stylish with your attire. These shoes are feather-light and feature a plush oversized midsole.
Arcade Belts
How many times have you sat on a long-haul flight or road trip and had to deal with an uncomfortable belt digging into your hips and abdomen? Arcade Belts are TSA-friendly, stretch just the right amount, and can handle any adventure you seek out. The buckle is low profile with a durable high-density plastic that allows you to walk right through security without removing the belt. And the best part? Arcade Belts are machine washable.
Travel Gifts: Road Trips
Uncharted First Aid Plus
Uncharted is a company that designs products to save lives. You won’t find a more comprehensive first aid kit on the market. Uncharted’s First Aid Plus is made of extremely high-quality materials. The waterproof shell and molle attachments provide intuitive gear to help people navigate emergencies big and small. This first aid kit has everything you could ever want or need during an emergency, like a multi-tool, flashlight, chem lights, stormproof matches, duct tape, anti-bacterial wipes, and so much more.
Uncharted Portable Energy System
Can you tell we are big fans of Uncharted products?! The Athena allows you to bring your own electricity on road trips with this 16000 mAh, Portable Energy System. Whether your car needs a jump or your laptop needs a boost, the capacity holds more than enough power to get you where you need to go.
Psi Bands
A drug-free option for those who suffer from nausea and vomiting due to motion sickness, these acupressure Psi Bands are stylish and deliver results. They are waterproof and come with a compact case for travel when not in use. They work wonders for kids and are so much easier than trying to give them drugs to combat the effects of nausea.
Bug Bite Thing
This is a suction tool that everyone needs to keep in their travel kit and first aid kit. It is best used immediately after a bug bite to extract insect and saliva venom from under the skin to alleviate the itching, stinging, and swelling caused by insect bites and stings. The Bug Bite Thing is reusable, doesn’t use any chemicals, and is perfect for kids.
Waka Coffee
One travel accessory that we always have on hand is Waka Coffee’s freeze-dried instant coffee packs. It tastes just like freshly brewed coffee, and you only need to add hot water, which makes it an ideal travel product to pack, especially on road trips and long-haul flights.
I love the taste of coffee but can’t always handle the caffeine, and I’m pleased to report that Waka’s decaf coffee packs taste incredible. It is no surprise that Waka Coffee has a long list of testimonials from the biggest names like Us Weekly, Forbes, The NY Times, Esquire, and many, many more.
Rubyloo Dog Travel Bag
If you travel with your dog or arrange care for them while you are away, Rubyloo’s dog travel bag is so handy for keeping everything in one place. It comes with two collapsable bowls, two food containers, and a poop bag dispenser. This dog travel bag has room for all of your dog’s accessories and is a must-have for every dog owner.
Nesco Dehydrator
If you are going on a road trip, one of the best things you can do is travel with your own food. Not only will you save money, but you will also eat much healthier than eating out every day. Nesco’s Gardenmaster Digital Pro Dehydrator has up to 20 trays which are perfect for packaging snacks like fruit, vegetables, and jerky. It has 1000 watts of drying power to help you get stocked up for your vacation.
Chard Single Burner Camp Stove
If you want a product to make your road trip or camping vacation easier, Chard’s Single Burner Butane Camp Stove is it. This road trip staple comes with a portable carrying case with canister storage. The burner provides an 8,500 BTU flame, and the cooking area allows for one 10 Inch pan.
Pull Start Fire
If you are on a camping trip and want to easily make a fire, nothing is simpler than Pull Start Fire. You simply add the wood, pull the string, and enjoy. There are no matches required, and the flame lasts for 30 minutes. It will even work with wet wood. So get those S’mores cooking and relax, knowing you will easily be able to make a fire.
Travel Gifts: Electronics
Nikon Z 30 Mirrorless Camera
For all those budding bloggers out there, the Nikon Z 30 Mirrorless Camera just made your life so much easier. The flip-out touch-screen selfie monitor and versatile 16-50mm lens are huge selling points of this incredibly light and easy-to-use mirrorless 4k camera.
Sony RX100 Travel Camera
If you don’t feel like lugging around a large camera, the Sony RX100 is the perfect travel camera and has 200mm of zoom. It has manual control and RAW format shooting, and although smartphones are gaining in popularity for travel photos, they just can’t compete with this pocket camera.
Travel Gifts: Personal Products
Oplee Travel Contact Lens Case
Finally, a solution to keeping all of your contact lens products in one place while you travel. This travel contact lens case by Oplee is genius and you will no longer have to search for your contact lens products because they are all held in this handy case.
This travel contact lens case had a built-in mirror and spots for the solution bottle, eyeglasses and eyeglass case, and lens case.
Steripod Toothbrush Cover
When was the last time you cleaned or changed your toothbrush covers? I can’t tell you how many times mine fell off during travel until I discovered Steripod. They easily and firmly clip onto any toothbrush and keep those icky germs and unwanted grime away. The natural scents of orange and peppermint oils are a welcome addition to this travel necessity.
Soul Insole Shoe Bubble
If you wear insoles, you will understand how hard they are to fit into all types of footwear. Now you can leave your regular insoles at home and use Soul Insoles instead while traveling. They are perfect for providing that additional arch support without having to buy shoes an extra size bigger to accommodate a typical insole.
Soul Insoles are ideal for heels, flats, flip flops, and every type of dress shoe that you typically can’t fit an insole in. When I travel, I like to put my regular insoles in my running shoes and then peel and stick my Soul Insoles into my sandals, heels, and other flat shoes. I no longer have to choose function over style because Soul Insoles allow me to have both on vacation.
Vegamour Travel Shampoo & Conditioner
We are not the type of traveler who likes to rely on hotel hair products, and we prefer to use as few chemicals as possible. Vegamour’s clean, color-safe duo utilizes plant actives and vegan keratin called Karmatin. This travel-sized shampoo and conditioner duo is the perfect amount for a vacation, you won’t be stuck trying to squeeze out every last drop like the complimentary hotel bottles that are too small.
Bottom line, Vegamour’s shampoo and conditioner duo will leave hair shiny, healthy, and hydrated. It’s also suitable for all hair types.
Kimtrue Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm
As a traveler who only packs a carryon bag, a product that does double duty gets extra bonus points in my book. Kimtrue’s Makeup Cleansing Balm both cleanses your skin and removes any heavy makeup like waterproof mascara.
Walton Wood Farm Waterless Power Shower
If you aren’t a fan of bathing in cold lake water while camping, Walton Wood Farm’s Waterless Power Shower will be your new best friend. Perfect for camping, road trips and trips to the gym, you can freshen up without taking a shower and smell fresh as a daisy with a light bergamot scent.
Comfortably Numb Pain Reliever
Comfortably Numb Pain Reliever will be your new best friend for stiff necks and sore backs from traveling and sleeping in new beds. I like to keep it close at hand during long-haul flights to relieve stiffness from being confined to a small space for so many hours. It’s also great to apply on bug bites to numb the pain and itching.
KT Tape
KT Tape will become a staple in your travel emergency kit once you try it. If you are planning on doing a lot of walking on your vacation, KT Tape will be a lifesaver! KT Tape is ultra-durable and will relieve any discomfort from blisters. It comes in a handy roll with a plastic case which is perfect for travel.
Grayl UltraPress Purifier Bottle
In less than 10 seconds, regardless of where your travels take you in the world, you can have clean, great-tasting drinking water. Grayl’s UltraPress looks exactly like a traditional water bottle from the outside, but it comes with peace of mind knowing that you will have access to drinking water while traveling.
What sets this purifying water bottle apart from the competition is that you don’t have to fumble around with a bunch of different parts. You simply fill, press and drink.
Travel Gifts: Experiences
Origin Travel Planning App
Origin is a trip planning app for custom-designed trips that include a travel membership connecting you with local experts worldwide, working together to create a unique experience for you. No need for various apps and websites. All of Origin’s magic happens within just one app.
Perhaps one of the best features of Origin’s trip planning app – having access to a travel curator 24/7. For example, during our trip to Portugal, we decided halfway through our itinerary that we wanted to replace one of our downtime days in Porto with an extra day in Lisbon.
I sent a chat message within the app to our personal travel curator, and he rearranged our itinerary to accommodate the changes. He added an extra city tour in Lisbon for us, I easily paid the additional cost in the app, and we were all set. It really is as simple as that with Origin.
If you love to travel, enjoy luxury hotels, and want to have every little detail taken care of for you, Origin should be at the top of your list. You can have the trip of your dreams without any of the hassles. Origin handles all the details, and you focus on enjoying your vacation. No two trips will be the same – unless you want them to be!
Fever Travel Experiences
Don’t know where to head this weekend? No problem. Fever delivers a curated list of the most exciting events, things to do, and to see in your city, tailored just for you. Travel Gifts: Books & Crafts
Lonely Planet Coffee Table Travel Books
Lonely Planet is synonymous with travel, and what better way to inspire wanderlust than to have these gorgeous coffee table books for inspiration. Our personal favorites are 100 Amazing Places Away from the Tourist Trail and Epic Road Trips of the Americas. If you love exploring areas far from the tourist crowds and dreaming of your next adventure, these travel books will be well-used.
Buddha Boards
One of our favorite recent finds for a quiet and mess-free activity while traveling. Kids will love painting with water and then watching their masterpiece slowly fade away as it evaporates.
It is quick to set up, and “Painting” with water is truly mess-free. There is no ink, paint, or chemicals, and it’s fun for all ages. The Buddha Board helps kids explore the creative process, and it is ideal for travel when you want your kids to have some downtime that doesn’t involve a screen.
LeadHER Craft Kits
These LeadHER collection craft kits introduce girls ages 7-12 to mighty trailblazing women like Frida Kahlo, Amelia Earhart, and Rosa Parks while creating a lasting keepsake that can be displayed proudly in their room. It’s a great activity for road trips.
We love these crafts kits because they provide an educational story, include thoughtful discussion questions that encourage girls to chase their dreams and use their voice for change, and for every purchase made, a portion of the proceeds are donated to organizations working to empower girls across the globe.
You can’t go wrong with any of these holiday travel gifts for the traveler in your life. Consider getting them a gift they will actually use on their adventures and feel confident knowing it will not be left at home collecting dust!
